A special portion of the festival is the performance of The Mass Chorus. The Mass Chorus is coordinated by Mr. Paul Ahrens a long-standing member of the German Heritage Council. Mr. Ahrens has been a member of the German Heritage Council since 1974 and serving as the Chorus Coordinator for over 25 years.

The Mass Chorus presentation opens the Stage-Show portion of the festival. Their performance begins with the National Anthems (both German and American), followed by a few select titles. The Mass Chorus is a coordinated effort of nine New Jersey based groups, who unite their efforts for this special day. Below we highlight each of these groups along with three guest groups who have also participated in the festival on occasioin.

The chorus is conducted by either Mrs. Johanna Teubner-Prussak or Mr. Manfred Knoop.
